Magical Ceremonies

Celebrant Style!

Celebrant-led services are becoming extremely popular as couples can create their own dream ceremony,

which is unique to them without being restricted by any Church or Registrar rules!

Your wedding ceremony is the centre of your wedding day....

so adding a personal touch without any restrictions to adhere to is so important!

There are so many ways you can add something a little different into your ceremony:

Bottle of Wine

Wine has been a symbol of life and prosperity for centuries.  One ceremony tradition that involves wine is to have two small carafes of wine, one white and one red!  After exchanging rings, the couples put the wines into a third carafe, creating a special blend!  They each take a sip of the mixed wine to represent their individual lives become one!

Unity Sand Ceremony

Each partner has a container of sand of different colours.  You pour them together into a vase to symbolise your two loves and personalities fusing together!

Ring Warming

Your rings are handed between all of your guests and they can speak or silently send their wishes for your future over the rings so when it comes to exchange them, they're imbued with the love and affection of all your family and friends!

Jumping the Broom!!

You decorate a broom and lay it on the floor and jump over it!!  This represents sweeping away the old and welcoming in the new!

Handfastening

Originally a pagan ritual, now the couple cross their hands and the celebrant, guests or family members tie coloured ribbons around their hands!

Ditching Tradition

Loved it that Lucy & Kirsten ditched the traditional bouquet of flowers in favour of a pint of Wylam Brewery Ale to walk down the aisle as Mrs & Mrs!

Our absolute favourite Celebrant has to be the fabulous Jo from - Love Jo Ceremonies!

"Trust your story to be outstanding and then trust me to deliver it with the inspiration it deserves.

Being a Celebrant is the most EXCITING thing ever.  To be able to deliver the most unique,

spectacular ceremony for you is the most humble and joyful of experiences for me.  Jo x"
