Why use Drone's?

What are Drone's used for?

Drone technology is increasing at a rapid rate across the board for commercial, private and leisure purposes!

Over recent years drone usage has expanded to include a wide variety of tasks including aerial photography, aerial videography, search and rescue operations, emergency response services, roof, building, structure and bridge inspections, offshore inspections such as oil rigs, wind turbines and farms.

Drones are also becoming extremely popular for leisure activities such as aiding with event monitoring, crowd control at large gatherings......even wedding and portrait photography is getting in on the act, producing some wonderful and very unique imagery!!

Health and Safety Advantages of Drone Operations

There are many advantages of using drones to carry out inspections with safety being top of the list!

Jobs that require surveys/inspections at elevated heights may have traditionally required scaffolding, rigs and crew members to manually inspect.  A drone takes away all of this, can be operated from ground level and capture high resolution images/video from multiple angles and distances of any elevated areas requiring inspection without any danger to the inspector/drone operator!  Also due to their size they can access hard to reach areas that would either prove extremely costly or maybe even impossible for a manned inspection.

Why Drone's are Cost Effective

In addition to the huge safety benefits drone's provide another major advantage they have is that they are hugely economical due to their portability, size and low operational costs.

Many industries would have ordinarily needed to shut down operations for an inspection to be carried out but business can carry on as normal with a drone inspection resulting in huge reductions in overall inspection costs.
